What to see and do in Poznań
Stary Rynek: The heart of the city
The starting point can only be the spectacular main square, one of the most beautiful in Europe. Here you will immediately be struck by its colorful Renaissance-style houses, the lively atmosphere between clubs and restaurants, the famous town hall with the mechanical goats that clash at noon.
The symbol of the city is the Renaissance town hall. Every day at noon two mechanical goats come out and “collide” 12 times: a curious and super photographed tradition
Ostrów Tumski: The oldest Poznań
This is the most historic area of the city, perfect for a quiet walk. Not to be missed:
- The cathedral (one of the oldest in Poland)
- The bridges over the Warta river
- The most silent and authentic atmosphere
Croissant Museum (Rogalowe Muzeum)
A fun and typical experience where you can discover and taste the famous local dessert: the rogal świętomarciński.
